Here Comes The Rain

Weather-WatchThe National Weather Service forecasts rain and possible thunderstorms between now and Thursday, with the heaviest precipitation predicted for Wednesday.

Skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 69 this afternoon, with a 20 percent chance of showers, the service predicts. There will be south-southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight, clouds will increase and there’s a 20 percent chance of rain, and wind gusts up to 20 mph. The temperature is expected to dip into the mid-50s.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for a 90 percent chance of rain, with a high near 63 and wind gusts up to 25 mph.

Showers are likely Wednesday night, with thunderstorms also possible after 11 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature around 47. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph will shift and come from the north-northwest. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

There’s a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. Thursday, then a slight chance of rain. We’ll see some sun, and temperatures should climb to the mid-60s. North-northwest wind will be around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

After a partly cloudy Thursday night, with a low around 47, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are expected to be sunny, with high temperatures increasing from the mid-70s to the mid-80s through the weekend, according to the service.
