High Flying Stunts Make Their Way Into Santa Clarita

[view:node_ad=5]The days of an old fashioned traveling circus are still alive, as Circus Vargas makes its way into Santa Clarita for a full run beginning Thursday.

The circus has set up shop in the Westfield Valencia Town Center parking lot, and the big top will open for shows nightly May 28-June 7, along with select afternoon shows on the weekends.

Ticket prices range from $20-$50 for adults and $15-$45 for children, depending on the seating level.

Along with normal circus fare, patrons who arrive 30 minutes early will also get to take part in some circus training, free of charge.

“We are a traveling circus,” smiles owner Katya Quiroga, “and so, when it would benefit an organization to bring Circus Vargas to them, we do so.”

The idea behind the special trip is to bring a taste of the circus to those who won’t be able to attend.

“It’s amazing, the feeling you get when you’re able to bring the magic of the circus to an audience that might never have been able to see it otherwise,” exclaims Katya
