High Winds Expected To Continue Through Friday

The National Weather Service has issues a wind advisory for the area that is not expected to expire until midday Friday.

Strong, gusty winds of 35 MPH or greater are anticipated, making driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. The California Highway Patrol has also issued the same warning, especially for the corridors of the 14 and the 5 northbound.

Another increase in northerly winds is expected tonight across Southern Santa Barbara County as well as the Interstate 5 corridor portion of the Los Angeles and Ventura County mountains.
