At approximately 4:15 p.m.,
a 2002 black Mercedes C320 collided with a motorcyclist, resulting in fatal
injuries to the rider, Aaron Braden. The driver and passengers of the Mercedes
stopped and provided a statement as required, but because the accident occurred
during rush hour traffic, no independent witnesses remained at the scene.

Due to the complexity of the investigation, the California
Highway Patrol is seeking additional information related to the collision and
is asking for the public’s help. If you witnessed this collision, please
contact Officer Mark Griffith at (661) 294-5540 or toll-free at (800) TELL-CHP
