Seniors, residents, physicians, & the Committee Against Closing the TCU, are holding a senior citizen’s sit-in called ‘Hold the Mayo!’.  The activity’s to coincide with the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Board meeting Monday afternoon at 3:30.  The sit-in’s to protest closure of the hospital’s Transitional Care Unit.  Outraged seniors, some in wheelchairs, using walkers & canes, along with community residents will carry protest signs in what they say is their last desperate attempt to influence the Board to keep the TCU.
