Oakmont of Santa Clarita staff are gearing up to hold a holiday bake sale for the public featuring chef-made pies and cakes from Nov. 5 through Dec. 28, with a portion of the proceeds set to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

“If you want really good pies and cakes and not have to bake them, come see us at Oakmont,” said Mary Dembkowski of Oakmont of Santa Clarita. “Our chef makes the most amazing desserts.”

Desserts planned for the fundraiser include roasted pumpkin pie, vanilla bean cranberry bundt cake with orange rum glaze, and dutch apple pie with toasted pecan and oatmeal streusel.

“They’re amazing,” said Dembkowski. “And the great thing about is, part of the proceeds from the bake sale goes toward the Alzheimer’s Association.”

Santa Clarita residents interested in purchasing a pie can place a pre-order for pickup between Nov. 5 and Dec. 28 for their holiday festivities, according to Dembkowski.
