The public is invited to hear Holocaust survivor Elaine Gellar speak at a City-sponsored event, “Surviving the Unthinkable – the Holocaust” at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Gellar is one of the youngest survivors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where Jews were held by the Nazis during World War II. She will share stories from her childhood and offer inspiration and insight into her personal experience during the event.

Also speaking will be community members and local youth, many involved with the City of Santa Clarita’s Human Relations Forum. The program is part of the “A Season of Diversity” series and will be held in the auditorium of Rio Norte Junior High School, 28771 Rio Norte Drive.

The Forum strives to promote understanding and appreciation of human differences while empowering community members to eliminate all forms of discrimination. For more information, call 250-3708 or visit santa-clarita.com/humanrelationsforum.
