Home And Garden Show Showcases New Ideas

The Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show is a new event, showcasing information, demonstrations and great ideas for homeowners.

On Saturday June 26 through Sunday June 27 at the Gateway Promenade on The Old Road, more than 70 businesses will showcase products such as new energy efficient solar panels.

Including information and ideas for homeowners, there will be a special appearance and presentation by Summer Baltzer, star of HGTV’s Design on a Dime.

Baltzer graduated from CSUN in the Family Environmental Sciences department, where she studied Architectural and Interior Design.

She has many years of experience in designing interiors to suit all budgets but she particularly loves the challenge of budget-conscious designing for Design on a Dime.

The Home and Garden Show is sponsored by the KHTS AM 1220, Castaic Lake Water Agency, Feathers Digital Graphics, Green Convergence and At Home Magazine.

Along with events for adults, The Home and Garden Show will also have kid’s activities. Admission is $5 and is free for children under 12, first responders and members of the military.

Attendees can also help the SCV Food Pantry by bringing nonperishable food items and get $1 off admission. Tickets can be purchased at the KHTS Studio and The Home Consignment Center.

The Gateway Promenade and the Home Consignment Center are located at 28738 The Old Road, two miles north of Magic Mountain Parkway and next door to the CHP.
