Special September 11th breakfast recognizes those
who act selflessly.

On Thursday morning, the Santa Clarita chapter of the American
Red Cross will host their annual Hometown Heroes breakfast, where local
individuals will be recognized for selected actions which dignify them as
heroes.

The recipients have each been nominated in a variety of
categories including First Responders, Youth (through 17), Adult (18 to 59), Animal,
Educator (classroom), Medical, Workplace, Military, Youth Sports Mentor, and Senior
(60 plus).

KHTS will post the heroes on hometownstation.com after the ceremony.
