Hello friends, well, this week I don’t have much to give you in terms of a recipe. I am working all week in Los Angeles and the long hours, not to mention the long ride home, do not allow time for home cooked meals to say the least! My husband made Tuna Casserole for dinner for our girls and himself…hey, it’s a classic. I just had a bowl of corn flakes…yum! Now it’s time for me to go to bed as my alarm clock is set for 5am.
This smoothie is a favorite of mine and my daughter. We make it all summer long, usually every day. I buy fresh fruit from the Farmer’s Market, clean it and put it is zip-lock freezer bags and store it in the freezer. My favorite fruit combo is strawberry, blueberry and banana. I don’t freeze the banana, but I do freeze the berries. This is a delicious, nutritious snack that is ready to drink in just a couple minutes. Of course, use any fruit combination that you like!
