Hometown Recipes With Chef Dawn Walker: Hot Artichoke Dip Recipe

Just in time for Christmas and New Years, Here is a family recipe for hot artichoke dip.  This is the easiest recipe to make and usually the hit at any party.  If you like spicy – add some fresh jalapenos slices or dices for a nice kick!

Hot Artichoke Dip Recipe

1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped fine

1 cup grated parmesan cheese (real… not the stuff in the green container)

1 cup mayonnaise (I also make with non-fat plain Greek yogurt when I want to cut calories)

salt/pepper to taste

Mix the ingredients together. 

Add salt and pepper to taste. 

Spread the dip in a pie plate or tin sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.  Bake at 350 degrees fro 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.  Serve with crackers, cut vegetables or chunks of bread.
