Hunger Defense Fund holds “Hunger Awareness Day”

On Tuesday, June 5th, the Hunger Defense Fund is inviting Santa Clarita to stop by their offices in Canyon Country for National Hunger Awareness Day. From 1:00 to 4:00pm, they’ll be giving out free hot dogs, hamburgers and sodas.

Donations to the Hunger Defense Fund are also always welcome, but not a requirement.

This coincides with two fundraising events in Santa Clarita that day that KHTS is sponsoring.

Patrons who present the Hunger Awareness Day flyer at Cold Stone Creamery between 11:00am and 9:00pm  will see a portion of money they spend go to the Hunger Defense Fund.

And Boston Market is giving away up to 40% of money spent by patrons between 4:00pm and 9:00pm. No flyer is required by Boston Market, so tell your friends!
