Hwy 138 Closing Overnight For Marking

Closures required for road marking applications.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close one lane of eastbound and/or westbound State Route 138, near Llano, overnight, alternately, from State Route 18 to the San Bernardino County line, in order to perform pavement marker installation from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night from June 2 through June 6.

One lane will be utilized intermittently for both eastbound and westbound traffic.  Flaggers and the California Highway Patrol will be on site to assist motorists. Delays of up to 10 minutes may be experienced.

Signs will be posted to assist motorists.  Caltrans also reminds motorists that traffic fines are doubled in freeway and highway work zones.
