Hyatt Takes A Step Up In Prestige

You may have noticed the change on the sign early in March, when the word “Regency” was added to the Hyatt Valencia’s official name.

“It’s a branding change,’ said General Manager Chris Aldieri. “Noble Investments took over the hotel in July and made quite a few investments in the property.”

Aldieri said that their guests have given rave reviews to the flat screen TVs in the rooms, the amenities at the conference center and an improved front desk management system.

“The consistency of our service scores and the recognition we’ve received from the community for both the hotel and the restaurant helped,” Aldieri added.

The hotel was also given kudos for its support of local nonprofit organizations, such as the Betty Ferguson Foundation, Saugus High School and the SCV Boys and Girls Club.

The Regency moniker is one way that travelers know this particular site offers amenities unique to corporate and business travelers, in addition to welcoming families and individuals who come to town for events and nearby tourist attractions.

Aldieri has been with the Hyatt Corporation for 30 years and has worked in various locations, including Maui, Houston, Chicago, Key West and Honolulu.

The 244-room hotel is adjacent to the Westfield Valencia Town Center and offers 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space including three outdoor garden areas overlooking the Valencia Country Club.
