I-5 Construction Closures Set Monday And Tuesday

Hasley Canyon Road bridge construction to close in two directions over two nights.

Holiday traffic will be affected early next week by construction on the Hasley Canyon bridge that will require freeway closures next week
for the I-5 Freeway southbound and northbound near Hasley
Canyon Road . Detours will be set up for facilitate the flow of traffic:

 

The northbound I-5 freeway is scheduled for full closure on Monday, December 22 from 12:01 am to 5:00 a.m.

 

The detour for the northbound I-5 traffic will exit at 126
west; south on Commerce Center Drive; east on Henry Mayo Drive; north on The
Old Road to the northbound I-5 on-ramp; at Lake Hughes Road.

 

The southbound I-5 freeway is scheduled for full closure on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 12:01 am to 5:00 a.m.

 

The detour for the southbound I-5 traffic will exit at Hasley
Canyon southbound off-ramp, south
on The Old Road to the southbound Route 5 on-ramp; just north of Rye
Canyon .

 

The purpose of the freeway closures is to allow the
contractor to work on the new Hasley Canyon
Bridge . Changeable message board
signs will be posted to guide motorists throughout the detour. Also, CHP
officers will be present at the site to direct traffic as necessary.
