Santa Clarita – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lane of the southbound Golden State Freeway (I-5) on Tuesday, May 10, as follows, in order to perform storm-related pavement repairs.

SOUTHBOUND I-5:

–     Tuesday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: one lane of southbound I-5 will be closed from Calgrove Boulevard to the I-5/14 Interchange.

      Closures are weather permitting and subject to change.  Signs and detours will be posted to assist motorists.  Caltrans reminds motorists that traffic fines are doubled in freeway work zones, and to please SLOW FOR THE CONE ZONE.
