I-5 Overnight Closures In Castaic This Week

Here’s when you need to avoid the I-5 freeway near Hasley
Canyon Road this coming week.

[view:node_ad=5]Starting Monday night, full closures are scheduled for the
I-5 freeway at Hasley Canyon Road
in Castaic. For three nights, traffic will be diverted to nearby streets.

 

 

Monday night through Tuesday morning (October 27th – 28th.)

 

All lanes of the northbound I-5 will be closed between midnight and 5:00
a.m.

 

For a detour, take Highway 126 west and make a left turn at Commerce
Center Drive, followed by a left turn at Henry
Mayo Drive. This will lead to The Old Road. Make a
left turn, and take The Old Road down to Lake Hughes
Ave, make a right, and enter the I-5 northbound.

 

 

ImageTuesday night through Wednesday morning (October 28th -29th.)

Wednesday night through Thursday morning (October 29th -30th.)

 

All southbound I-5 lanes will be closed from midnight to 5:00
a.m.

 

The recommended detour from here would be to exit at Hasley
Canyon Rd. and make a left on The Old Road. Take
The Old Road southbound to the Rye Canyon
onramp for the I-5.  

 

The construction is related to an ongoing project to enhance
the roadway at Hasley Canyon Road
and The Old Road, which includes a bridge over the I-5. Area motorists seeking
