One Confirmed Injury

Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:15PM, several vehicles came together on the south I-5 near Smokey Bear Road. One passenger, believed to be a toddler, was ejected from a vehicle. CHP initiated a traffic break shortly after as an emergency airship landed near the I-5 to transport the injured party to an area hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
