Interstate 5 Now Open Both Ways Through The Grapevine

According to CHP the I-5 through the Grapevine is now open.

A storm last night that dumped ice and snow on  Interstate 5 has shut down the Grapevine in both directions.

California Highway Patrol officers are unsure of when the freeway will reopen.

“It’s up to Mother Nature,” said Officer Ed Jacobs. “As soon as we can get the road clear. We’ve got black ice on the road.”

Keep checking back for updates.
