Jury selection is continuing in the murder case against Michael Dean Stephens in San Fernando Superior Court.

Stephens is suspected of the brutal murder of Josh Pipho and injuring Chad Weitz after an altercation in Stevenson Ranch in November 2007.

He is accused of stabbing Pipho 16 times and Weitz 17 times before using his car to run over Pipho, a popular former Canyon High baseball player.

Stephens has been in custody at Men’s Central Jail since he turned himself in four days after the incident.
