Juvenile Burglary Suspect Arrested After Victim Identifies Him

khts_crime_genericSanta Clarita Detective Bureau has been investigating a series of residential burglaries in the Saugus area.

On Wednesday, a residential burglary was reported to Detective Richard Welch, who was working a patrol assignment. He advised burglary detectives that the victim thought she had seen the suspect in the area before and that he may be one of her neighbors.

Detective Charles Christensen responded and was able to get a description of the suspect’s residence. Using departement resources, he was able to obtain a recent photo of the potential suspect and the most recent victim was able to identify the suspect as the one seen inside her home that morning.
