Juveniles Arrested For Vandalism At Central Park

Pair suspected of $3,500 in damage.

Two juveniles were arrested Tuesday for tagging several areas in and around Central Park and along Paraguay Drive in Saugus. Both suspects are 15-year-old male Hispanics who reside in Canyon Country and Saugus.

Residents saw the boys tagging various spots around the park and deputies believe they may be responsible for more than $3,500 worth of spray paint damage to block walls, park light poles, electrical boxes, asphalt, sidewalks and bridges.

Both boys were booked at the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station on suspicion of felony vandalism. They were each cited and released to their parents.
