Officials from Davey Hamilton’s inaugural King of the Wing National Sprint Car Shootout and MAVTV have announced that all three rounds of the Western Swing, including the championship race at KCRP on November 23rd, will have tape delay television coverage.

The agreement comes in a joint venture with MustSeeRacing.com.

Fans from all over the world are expected to flock to Southern California in late November to witness the fastest short track cars in the world.

Speeds will reach 160 miles per hour in the Kern County Raceway Park round, which will honor Indianapolis 500 legend George “Ziggy” Snider.

The series will compete at Madera Speedway on Friday November 21st, Irwindale Speedway on November 22nd, and conclude their season November 23rd at Kern County.

Nearly 30 teams have filed entries with teams traveling from Canada to Indiana to Florida and everywhere in between.

A strong contingent of more than a dozen Californians will try to defend home turf as well.  Each of the feature races will pay $3000 to win and $750 to start.

The Kern County event will be a twilight race with grandstands opening at 1:30 p.m., followed by practice with opening ceremonies at 4 p.m.

King of the Wing qualifying will follow with a full program of heat races, a 30 lap NASCAR Spec Modified feature, and a 15 lap 911 Series finale also scheduled.

The 40 lap George Snider Classic is tentatively slated to push off at 7 p.m. with a huge Zambelli Fireworks show to cap off the evening.

Tickets for the King of the Wing are just $20 for Adults, $10 for Seniors 65+, Active Military, Children 6-15, and Children 5 and under are free!

A Family Pass for two adults and two seniors or children is $52 (Box office only).  Reserved stadium seats are $25.  Trackside RV and dry (no hookups) parking lot RV parking are available race weekend as well.
