KHTS Gears Up For Dodger Season

 

Dodgers host Under the Lights and give fans a backstagepass. 

[view:node_ad=5]The Dodgers Under the Lights public batting practice washeld this past Saturday, and KHTS was there to rub elbows with the pros.

 

The event was hosted by Dodgers first baseman James Loney andoutfielder Matt Kemp.

KHTS was treated to batting practice on the Dodgers diamond,pitching in the bullpen, as well as pictures with Kemp and Loney.


On top of field activities guests were also treated to a VIPtour of the locker room by Dodger great “Sweet” Lou Johnson.

Johnson played for the Dodgers from 1965-67 and hit the gamewinning home run in game seven of the 1965 World Series.

 

Local businessmen Josh Randall, the son of the owners of American Builders Supply, and Tony Inderbitzen of Insurance Auto Collision joined KHTS for the event.

The Dodgers are now gearing up for Spring Training in Glendale, Ariz.,where their first game is against the White Sox on March 1.

 

Charley Steiner,Rick Monday, and Vin Scully will back to broadcast all the games on the DodgersRadio Network.  Here in Santa Clarita KHTS will be carrying all games starting with the first pitch in April.
