New tool allows organizations to post their events on hometownstation.com.
[view:node_ad=5]Here at KHTS AM-1220, we’re proud to announce the official launch of our Community Calendar section on hometownstation.com.
This new online tool, powered by Santa Clarita Web Services, allows site users to post details regarding local events on hometownstation.com.
Posting to the KHTS Community Calendar is easy and completely free of charge. Users can access the calendar under the “Featured on KHTS” menu on hometowntation.com.
To view the calendar, simply browse through the dates in a monthly, weekly or daily view setting.
To post an event to the calendar, new users must register with hometownstation.com, creating a username and password. This step is only required before a user’s first posting.
Once registration is complete, click the “Add Event” button and fill out the form. Your posting will automatically be sent to a hometownstation.com administrator where it will be reviewed to ensure that it is locally relevant and appropriate for publication.
If approved, the posting will go live on the site and will be available for viewing by all.
KHTS administrators seek out all of the show times at local live theaters, the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center and many community events, so it’s a great way for residents of Santa Clarita to plan their week’s activities.
