Gymnastics Unlimited will be offering a new approach to summer camp this summer by providing a gymnastics camp for children ages 5 through 12.
“This time of year, we’re getting excited about our upcoming summer camps,” said Gymnastics Unlimited co-owner Lisa Eichman. “Kids love our summer camps, where we provide supervision by safety-certified, professional gymnastics coaches, and we incorporate crafts and other activities.”
Each camp lasts one week, and there is no minimum requirement on how many camps a camper must attend.
The first camp starts June 7-11 and the final week is Aug. 2-6.
The camp, which operates from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, Monday through Friday, offers activities such as gymnastics, games, movies and crafts,
In addition each week the campers will be taught a gymnastics routine that is performed for parents at week’s end.
Each child’s role is ability-based, so every child has a chance to shine and show off his or her new skills.
“It’s very, very popular,” said gym co-owner Craig Eichman. “Kids love it, parents love it, it’s a great photo-op.”
He said the camps are a great opportunity for children to experience the tumbling, jumping and bouncing sport of gymnastics, while also cultivating friendships, staying fit, and having some good old-fashioned summer fun. “Our staff loves running these camps, because the kids are in ‘summer mode’ and they bring a lot of energy into the gym.”
Summer camps are held at Gymnastics Unlimited at 28373 Constellation Road, in the Rye Canyon Business Park.
Each camper will receive a Gymnastics Unlimited summer camp T-shirt, and anyone is welcomed to attend.
The camps costs $125 a week and new students can save $10 by downloading this ad and coupon.
