LA Kings present Disaster Coalition with check.
On Saturday, many Santa Clarita residents headed down to the Staples Center to take part in Santa Clarita Kings day, which has become a tradition.
The day featured a Kings Hockey game with discounted prices for Santa Clarita residents.
Also, a portion of the proceeds were donated to the Santa Clarita Disaster Coalition, which is working to help victims of the Buckweed and Ranch fires.
A $1,000 check was presented to SCV Mayor Bob Kellar, Fire Chief Bill Niccum, Sheriff’s Sgt. Darren Harris and Disaster Coalition organizer Sharon Bronson.
Historically the Kings win on Santa Clarita day and this game was no exception.
