Musical group will headline concert at Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center.
[view:node_ad=5]It may be time to dust off your platform shoes and disco duds for a big night of music. Kool and The Gang will kick off of the 2008 season at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons.
The legendary disco stars will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, celebrating five decades of funkadelic music and their new album “Still Kool.” Their special sound is a unique intersection of jazz, R&B, funk and pop with hits like “Jungle Boogie,” “Ladies Night,” “Get Down On It” and the smash single, “Celebration.”
In honor of their show at the Performing Arts Center, all concertgoers are encouraged to dress up in their most outrageous disco outfit and Marks Brothers Entertainment will be giving away back stage passes, autographed merchandise and awards for the best-dressed guests.
A few lucky people will have the chance to dance on-stage with Kool & The Gang during one of their songs. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
