L.A. County District Attorney Steve Cooley Stops By Santa Clarita

cooley1Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley was seen rubbing elbows Tuesday evening at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia.

Cooley, who is running for California Attorney General, was seen with Cheri and Don Fleming, Bruce Fortine, and John March.

March is the father of slain LA County Sheriff Deputy David March, who was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Irwindale in 2002.

The shooter, Jose Arroyo Garcia, is a three-time convicted drug dealer and illegal alien who fled to Mexico after the shooting.

The senior March worked with Cooley to extradite Garcia from Mexico to the United States, where he was tried and convicted for March’s slaying.  Garcia is now serving a life without the possibility of parole sentence at Calipatria State Penitentiary.
