During construction, motorists traveling east on Palmdale Boulevard will be detoured to 47th Street East, 50th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard via 40th Street East and Avenue P-8.

Motorists traveling west on Palmdale Boulevard will be detoured to 47th Street East, 50th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard via 60th Street East and Avenue R.  Traffic delays are expected to be minimal.  However, delays may, at times, may be up to 10 minutes; possibly more during holidays and/or during the rainy season.  Signs and detour will be posted to assist motorists. Roadwork is estimated to complete in Spring, 2009.

Businesses will remain open during construction.
