Santa Clarita – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5) and State Route 126 as part of a $24-million project to improve the I-5/126 Interchange, from Monday, February 28 through Saturday, March 5:
INTERSTATE 5:
· Daily beginning Monday, February 28 through Friday, March 4, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
– One lane of southbound I-5 from Hasley Canyon Road to Rye Canyon Road
– One lane of northbound I-5 from Rye Canyon Road to Hasley Canyon Road
· From 11 p.m. Monday, February 28 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 1:
– ALL LANES of southbound I-5 from Hasley Canyon Road to Rye Canyon Road
– The Hasley Canyon Road on-ramp to southbound I-5
· From 11 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 to 6 a.m. Thursday, March 3 :
– ALL LANES of southbound I-5 from Hasley Canyon Road to Rye Canyon Road
– The Hasley Canyon Road on-ramp to southbound I-5
· From 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5:
– ALL LANES of northbound I-5 from Magic Mountain Parkway to Hasley Canyon Road
STATE ROUTE 126:
· Daily beginning Monday, February 28 through Friday, March 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
– One lane of eastbound State Route 126 from Castaic Junction to I-5
– One lane of westbound State Route 126 from I-5 to Castaic Junction
– The eastbound State Route 126 connector to southbound I-5
– The eastbound State Route 126 connector to northbound I-5
· Overnight on Tuesday, March 1, Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3 from
11:59 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
– The eastbound State Route 126 connector to northbound I-5
