Lane Closures for I-5/126 Interchange

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) MAY close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5) and State Route 126 – intermittently — as part of the FINAL STAGES of a $24-million project to improve the I-5/126 Interchange:

INTERSTATE 5:

7 pm. Friday, September 16 to 6 a.m. Saturday, September 17:  The southbound I-5 connectors to the westbound Henry Mayo Drive/State Route 126 junction north 

7 p.m. to Friday, September 16 to 5 a.m. Saturday, September 17: The northbound I-5 connectors to the westbound Henry Mayo Drive/State Route 126 Junction north

STATE ROUTE 126: 

 ·     7 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 to 6 a.m. Thursday, September 15, one lane of eastbound State Route 126 from Castaic Junction to I-5

·     7 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 to 6 a.m. Thursday, September 15, the eastbound State Route 126 connector to northbound and southbound I-5

·     7 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 to 6 a.m. Thursday, September 15, the eastbound State Route 126 on-ramp to the eastbound and westbound Castaic Junction

·     7 p.m. Thursday, September 15 to 6 a.m. Friday, September 16, one lane of eastbound State Route 126 from Castaic Junction to I-5

·     7 p.m. Thursday, September 15 to 6 a.m. Friday, September 16, the eastbound State Route 126 connector to northbound and southbound I-5

·     7 p.m. Thursday, September 15 to 6 a.m. Friday, September 16, the eastbound State Route 126 on-ramp to the eastbound and westbound Castaic Junction

·     6 p.m. Friday, September 16 to 5 a.m. Saturday, September 17, westbound State Route 126 at the I-5 Castaic Junction

·     6 p.m. Monday, September 19 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, one lane of westbound State Route 126 at the I-5 Castaic Junction
