Lane Closures for I-5/126 Interchange September 19-23

The California Department of Transportation will close the following lanes of I-5 and State Route 126 as part of the FINAL STAGES of a $24-million project to improve the I-5/126 Interchange from Monday, September 19 to Friday, September 23:
 

INTERSTATE 5
Daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
 
— One lane of northbound and southbound I-5 from Rye Canyon Road to Hasley
Canyon Road
 
Monday, September 19; Tuesday, September 20; and Wednesday, September 21
nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
 
— The northbound and southbound I-5 connectors to westbound State Route
126
— The Hasley Canyon Road on-ramp to southbound I-5
 
Monday, September 19; Tuesday, September 20; and Wednesday, September 21 – nightly from 11:59 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
 
— ALL LANES of southbound I-5 from Hasley Canyon Road to Rye Canyon Road
 
STATE ROUTE 126:
Nightly — Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23:
 
6 p.m. to 5 a.m. – One lane of westbound State Route 126 from I-5 to
Castaic Junction
6 p.m. to 5 a.m. – The westbound Castaic Junction on-ramp to eastbound
State Route 126
7 p.m. to 5 a.m. – The eastbound State Route 126 connector to southbound
I-5
7 p.m. to 5 a.m. – The eastbound State Route 126 connector to northbound
I-5
 
Closures are weather permitting and subject to change.  Caltrans reminds motorists to PLEASE, SLOW FOR THE CONE ZONE.
