Las Vegas Shooting: Child & Family Center To Host Free Discussion On Coping, Healing

In the aftermath of the Las Vegas shooting and the numerous Santa Clarita residents who were directly or indirectly affected by the tragedy, the Child & Family Center, Santa Clarita Coalition and Life Coach Alex Urbina are hosting a FREE discussion on how to cope and heal.

On Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m., the Santa Clarita community is invited to attend the discussion or watch via Facebook Live video on the KHTS Facebook page.

Expected to lead the discussion are Jeni Masi, psychologist; Lara Murphy, LMFT; Markie Bear, ASW; and Alex Urbina, life coach.

Those who may be experiencing shock, anger, sadness and even anxiety in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting are encouraged to be part of, or simply listen to, the discussion.

The therapeutic counselors leading the discussion will help guide attendees on how to make sense of what happened and start moving forward with their lives in a powerful way.

The discussion will be held at the Child & Family Center at 21545 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita.
