Mormon church will broadcast messages.

This weekend, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will convene the 179th Semiannual General Conference in Salt Lake City.

Over the course of the Conference, messages of inspiration and guidance will be delivered by the First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and other leaders of the Church.

The broadcast feed containing these messages will be available for viewing in Santa Clarita through Time Warner cable on channel 698, Digital Broadcast Basic. The channel is free with a digital receiver.

The broadcast can be seen Saturday, October 3, 2009 – Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

“Our semi-annual General Conferences are a wonderful opportunity for all to receive instruction and inspired counsel from a living prophet, apostles, and other leaders of the church,” said President Steven G. Lindberg, Santa Clarita Stake.  “We are ever grateful to Time-Warner Cable for providing us access to these broadcasts, and to KHTS Radio for posting the information.”
