Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA) is donating to the silent auction for the 41st Annual Providence Holy Cross Foundation Golf Classic and Auction March 26th at the Valencia Country Club.
“We are happy to be helping out again with our donation of a limited edition hand-pulled giclee by CM Cooper, titled Another Sunday Morning, which won the award for Best of Show at the 2011 Annual Art Classic,” said Laurie Morgan, president of SCAA.

“SCAA has partnered with the Providence Holy Cross Art of Healing Program in Santa Clarita for four years, loaning beautiful soothing art for oncology patients during their treatments,” said Morgan.
Cooper is a local art instructor and fulltime gallery painter. Her work is featured at several galleries across the nation, from Westfield, NJ, to Laguna Beach, CA. She has won numerous awards including Third Place in the Salon International’s 2010 Top Award Show. The Museum Director’s Choice Award at the California Art Club’s 92nd annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition in 2002 was another highly coveted honor. Cooper has been a featured artist in Southwest Magazine’s Figurative Issue, November 2003, and was selected as an Artist to Watch in November 2002.
