Local author Robert Moulton recently published his first in a series of four children’s books. With associate Judy Kirk, Moulton was inspired by his experiences on a farm and desire to teach kids basic Spanish vocabulary.
The lyrical tales are set in a farm in Texas and center around the adventures of two field mice, Rosey and Josey. Their visiting cousins from out of town, Harry and Larry, introduce Spanish vocabulary words for beginning Spanish speakers.
Rosey and Josey learn about helping, accepting, and caring for others as they interact with characters including Big Feet (the farmer), Sky Hawk, Aunt Bee, and the Monarch butterfly.
Rosey and Josey Meet Big Feet features cover art painted by Moulton.
Moulton will be reading and signing his book at the Valencia Borders on July 10 at 11:00 a.m. and July 15 at 11:00 a.m. Valencia Borders is located at 24445 Town Center Drive,
