While Six Flags Magic Mountain is offering free admission to those who donate a new unwrapped toy, Grace Baptist Church is opening a one day food pantry.
[view:node_ad=5]For two days only, Six Flags will reward you for making a difference. As part of their “Toys for the Holiday” event, Six Flags Magic Mountain is encouraging everyone to participate in their toy drive for over 28 Boys and Girls Clubs here in Southern California. And all you have to do is bring your toy to the Donation Booth at Six Flags.
Toy Requirements:
-Must be in original packing
-Valued at $15 or more
-Have either receipt or price tag
And on the same day, Grace Baptist is offering those who are struggling during this holiday season, a helping hand.
After collecting food for several months, Grace Baptist will open their doors tomorrow not only as a church, but as a food pantry. “The conference room will be converted to a shopping center tomorrow, and we expect a good turn-out,” says Grace Baptist Administrative Pastor Paul Leitzell.
But this isn’t any ordinary food pantry. In addition to the free groceries, Leitzell said attendants will also be treated to several special services. “We’re going to have professional hairstylists donating haircuts, and we’ll also have a free car wash service.”
So if you know anyone who could use a little help up during the holiday season, please take them to Grace Baptist tomorrow, December 8th.
If you have any questions about the Food Pantry please contact the Church at (661) 296-8737, or email to foodpantry@gracebaptist.org.
Grace Baptist Church is located at 22833 Copper Hill Dr. Santa Clarita, 91350.
