Small business makes buying a car simple for Santa Clarita residents.


[view:node_ad=5] In today's economy, small businesses are often the first casualty. Car dealership owner Raffi Haddad is trying to keep his doors open by using a community approach, and giving a new meaning to "shop local."

At Bestway Auto & Truck, Haddad is offering to put just about everyone in a car of their own, regardless of credit.

The idea is for local people who live and work in Santa Clarita to be able to afford a car of their own regardless of bad credit, no credit, or bankruptcy.

"If you live locally and have a job, we will put you in a car, reasonably priced, and we'll give you the car for $399.99 down," Haddad said.

After the initial down payment, owners will have to make a weekly payment on the car, which will give full ownership quicker than a typical pay-by-month plan.

"There are no strings attached, as long as you keep making the payments on time, within a year or so you will own the car," said Haddad.
