Local Girl Scouts Need Help!

Girl Scouts-Joshua Tree Council is currently seeking a temporary storage facility for any five consecutive days during the week of February 20 – February 27, 2005 in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The facility will be used as a drop site for approximately 228,000 boxes of Girl Scouts Cookies sold by Girl Scouts throughout Santa Clarita Valley.

They are looking for a covered facility that is approximately 5,000 – 6,000 square feet (minimum 3,500 square feet).

The cookies will not be stored overnight, rather they will be picked-up by Troop Leaders and volunteers on the same day of delivery.  Daily drop-offs and pick-ups are usually scheduled from 8am-2pm.

If you know of a facility that would be willing to donate or charge a minimal fee for a site of this description, please let us know.

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Please contact:
