Local Hockey Team Making History


The Flyers in new territory as they enter the playoffs.  

 

 

[view:node_ad=5]The Valencia Flyers are set to do battle as they take on the
San Diego Gulls on their march to the Western States Hockey League
Championship.

 

The Flyers are a locally based  Junior ‘A’ hockey team, which is highest level
of amateur hockey played in the United
States, with players ranging in age from 15
to 20 years old. 

 

Valencia
finished the season series 5-3-2, and their playoff birth is a first for the
Flyers.

 

The two teams have split their last two games with the
Flyers winning 6-2 and the Gulls winning 4-0. 

 

Playoffs get going tonight at the Valencia Ice Station at
7:45 pm.
