A 47 year-old man was killed Sunday afternoon in an accident involving his 2006 Lamborghini. According to the California Highway Patrol, Payman Engheta of Stevenson Ranch was driving the sports car on Bouquet Canyon Road near the Big Oaks Lodge at about 40 miles per hour when he lost control coming out of a curve.
The Lamborghini began to spin and collided with a tree on the driver’s side. Engheta was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County emergency personnel before being airlifted to Providence Holy Cross, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The CHP does not believe that alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident.
