[view:node_ad=5]According to a recent article published in Best Life magazine, a spin-off from the creators of Men’s Health magazine, the City of Santa Clarita is placed in the “Top 100 Places to Raise a Family in the United States.” Santa Clarita, coming in at number 56, is recognized as a city that combines a strong sense of community responsibility along with numerous family centered events.

The editors of  Best Life magazine used criteria and data from the U.S. Census Bureau, National Center for Education Statistics, FBI, American Association of Museums, National Center for Health Statistics, and American Bar Association in the compilation of the “Top100 Places to Raise a Family” article.

“It is always an honor when the City is recognized for its dedication to strong family values and sense of community,” said Mayor Bob Kellar.

The Best Life magazine is catered toward covering what maters most to men. The idea that men want to raise their children somewhere safe, where they can attend good schools and have an overall good quality of life was the criteria for the rankings.
