Magic Mountain Not Being Sold To Developers

Magic Mountain is here to stay.

Recently, rumors have made their way around town that Magic Mountain was up for sale, or that it had been sold to developers who were going to ruthlessly tear it down to build houses.

Shock vibrated through the community as many, including myself, were bewildered at the thought that the largest symbol of our town would be reduced to nothing more than track housing.

Little did I know that tearing the theme park down was never a plan.

Six Flags officials told us that they don’t know where the rumors came from.

It is true that Six Flags corporate has put the park up for sale, but only investment groups have inquired.

In fact, Magic Mountain is the 2nd highest grossing theme park in the Six Flags family. It operates at a profit, and therefore the chances of a developer tearing down a perfectly profitable park to build houses would not make a whole lot of sense.

So let the rumors be dispelled!

Magic Mountain is here to stay.
