[view:node_ad=5] Proposed-phas-2-improvement – Magic Mountain Parkway Widening: The construction of Magic Mountain Parkway widening (eastbound) is 60 percent complete. Removals, utility relocation, and rough grading are complete. Curb and gutter, roadway paving, and traffic signal installation is in progress and tentatively scheduled to be complete in May 2009.
The Old Road Realignment: The construction is 90 percent complete. Base paving has been constructed and northbound vehicular traffic has been redirected to the future alignment. All businesses in the surrounding construction area will remain open during construction activities.
Northbound Off-Ramp: The northbound off-ramp widening will require a complete closure. Upon Caltrans approval, a closure is expected to take place late-April and continue through May 2009. The detour for the northbound off-ramp will remain in place until the ramp is completely closed.
Signage: Detours and roadway signs are in place to assist the operational needs of the public. Please proceed with caution. We appreciate motorists’ continued patience and attention to the temporary roadway changes during this public improvement.
