Brotherhood hopes to repeat last year's magical sellout.
Ring 280 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) will showcase the talents of its members at its
second annual magic show fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club on Sat., March 29, in Santa Clarita.
After having a sold-out crowd in 2007, this year will feature two performances, with the doors opening at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. for an hour of close-up magic, followed by a two-hour stage show (2 p.m. and 7
p.m.).
“You don’t want to miss the show. It will be another great experience for the entire family. And again, the proceeds are going to a really worthy cause—our local Boys & Girls Club,” Lonnie Dilan, president of IBM, said. “I encourage everyone to buy their tickets before they vanish.”
“An Evening of Magic” will take place inside the Boys & Girls Club’s gymnasium at 24909 Newhall Avenue in Newhall.
Performers in the show range from a 12-year-old student to professionals with decades of experience. The IBM ring is made up of residents from the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys.
Seating is limited. For information or tickets ($10), please call (661) 254-2582 or visit http://www.scvkids.org/.
