A 30-year old Valencia resident created quite the disturbance when deputies tried to arrest him for indecent exposure.

Jeremy Bixler, 30, was lying on the grass with his pants down and his private parts exposed at Valencia Central Valley Park, in the neighborhood behind Granary Square on Wednesday afternoon. Witnesses called the sheriff’s department and Deputies Dubin and Jones responded.

Some people in the park also reported that Bixler had previously been rubbing himself in an indecent manner. Bixler was arrested for indecent exposure, public intoxication in a park, possessing alcohol in the park, and nudity in a park, but he didn’t go quietly.

During the arrest, Bixler resisted by refusing to walk, dragging his feet on the ground, screaming profanities, and stating his objection to being arrested. He was ultimately pepper-sprayed to gain compliance and was additionally charged with resisting arrest.

He was transported to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, where he was booked and released on a promise to appear.
