Clark will appear at the Canyon Country Library Thursday at 7 p.m. where she will be talking about her novels and signing books.
“The friends of Santa Clarita Public Library coordinates author events for the library,” said Robin Hoklotubbe, special projects coordinator at Santa Clarita Public Public, “Our July author is Marcia Clark.”
Clark is the author of “Guilt by Association” and “Guilt by Degrees” which features Los Angeles Special Trials prosecutor Rachel Knight.
Her latest book, “Killer Ambition,” was published in June.
In “Killer Ambition,” the daughter of a billionaire Hollywood director is found murdered after what appears to be a kidnapping gone wrong. Rachel Knight and Detective Bailey Keller find themselves at the epicenter of a high-profile court case.
Then a prime suspect is revealed to be one of Hollywood’s most popular and powerful talent managers, a best friend to the victim’s father. With the director vouching for the manager’s innocence, the Hollywood media machine commences an all-out war designed to discredit both Rachel and her case.
TNT has auctioned the books and a drama series is currently in development based on the series.
The event is free. No RSVP is necessary to attend. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Light refreshments will be served.
The Canyon Country Library is located at 18601 Soledad Canyon Road.
