New Orleans may have its Mardi Gras, but Santa Clarita will have its own Masquerade Ball, on Friday, February 9, 2007 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Valencia Country Club, located at 27330 North Tourney Road.
Guests will enjoy an authentic Cajun feast, casino tables, live jazz and dancing at a New Orleans-style event and fundraiser for the Foundation for Childrens Dental Health. Mardi Gras style décor, including beads and masks will be available at the ball.
“The Masquerade Ball is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a Mardi Gras style event right here in Santa Clarita, all benefiting a wonderful local charity,” commented Ken Pulskamp, City Manager and co-founder of the Foundation for Childrens Dental Health.
The Masquerade Ball includes a delicious dinner, entertainment, and the crowning of a King and Queen of the ball. Tax deductible tickets for the event are $125 per person, and are available from the Foundation at 661-296-8515.
