The City of Santa Clarita and the Small Business Development Center invite business owners in the Newhall Redevelopment area to attend an informational workshop titled “Marketing and Sales When the Economy is Sinking.”

The workshop will be offered twice on Thursday, October 29. The first session will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and the second from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Santa Clarita City Hall. Participants need only attend one session to qualify for grant benefits.

The seminar is offered in conjunction with the Newhall Redevelopment Small Business Grant Program and will provide businesses located in the downtown Newhall area with valuable information about bringing new customers into their stores and growing their companies in the redevelopment area.

Participants will also earn 25 points toward their Newhall Redevelopment Small Business Grant application score.
